You're against yaoi so you have a club dedicated trying to "get rid of it". Suddenly, it's become a "war". Now I know some of these clubs aren't focused so much on being anti-gay, but rather, being pro-het. Why don't you say that then? Putting something as "Anti" gives the negative connotation and breeds bad feelings. Honestly, I've seen all sorts of comments. Some hate yaoi and think it's an infestation. Some just don't like it in "their" fandom. Some just think yaoi-lovers are crazed fangirls who term all men in to sex-crazed homos.
Now, I come back by saying it's fandom. Duh. Not all views of other fans are going to be things you agree with. Some pairings are going to make you go "wtf" and there will always be people who make everyone have sex with everyone. Get over it. There's plenty of fan het porn pics and fics out there as well as yaoi/yuri. You're just mad because your characters have been "tainted" by the minds of "fangirls". Get over yourselves. This isn't a war. This is a bunch of people who can't tolerate people not giving them the pairings they want. If you don't like two guys together, don't click images labeled "yaoi". If you don't like to see sexual content don't click deviations with a warning sign on it. Geez. It's not that hard.
And for the record. Not all of us "fangirls" are sex-maniacs.
(As a side note, I just went to one of those anti-yaoi/yuri homepages and there was a statement that went something like "we're not anti-gay or lesbian) then preceeded to list reasons why that were pretty damn anti-gay and lesbian. Oh, the irony.)
